CreVue Retreat
Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: September 1, 2026
CreVue Retreat (“CreVue Retreat”, “CreVue”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is operated by Elcana Wellness Inc., an Ontario corporation.
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the CreVue Retreat website and your purchase, reservation or use of services offered by CreVue Retreat.
By using this website or making a reservation with CreVue Retreat, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any policies expressly incorporated into them, including our Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policy and Privacy Policy.
1. Our Services
CreVue Retreat offers retreat, accommodation, hospitality, event and related experiences in Canada.
Descriptions, photographs, schedules, amenities and other information presented on our website are intended to provide a reasonable representation of our offerings. Individual experiences, programming, furnishings, amenities and schedules may vary where reasonably necessary.
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to programming, schedules, activities or accommodations where circumstances require, provided that such changes do not override rights available to consumers under applicable law.
2. Reservations
A reservation is not confirmed until CreVue Retreat has issued confirmation of the booking.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information supplied when making a reservation is complete and accurate.
Before completing an online reservation, guests will be provided with an opportunity to review applicable booking information and correct errors.
Where required by applicable law, CreVue Retreat will provide the customer with a copy or confirmation of the agreement in a form that the customer can retain.
Ontario law presently contains specific disclosure, acceptance/error- correction and contract-copy requirements for qualifying internet agreements.
3. Prices and Payment
Prices displayed on our website are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise indicated.
Applicable taxes, fees and other mandatory charges will be disclosed before a customer completes a booking where required by law.
Available payment methods may change from time to time. The availability or display of a particular payment method does not guarantee that it will remain available.
If CreVue Retreat introduces third-party online payment processors in the future, these Terms and our Privacy Policy may be updated accordingly.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Reservations are subject to the CreVue Retreat Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policy set out below.
Nothing in that policy limits a cancellation, refund or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or waived.
5. Guest Responsibilities
Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward other guests, staff, hosts, neighbours, property and the surrounding environment.
Guests must comply with reasonable safety instructions, property rules and applicable laws.
CreVue Retreat reserves the right to require a guest to leave where the guest engages in unlawful activity, violence, threats, harassment, intentional property damage or conduct that creates a material safety risk to others.
Any refund in such circumstances will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the booking.
6. Activities and Personal Responsibility
Participation in recreational, wellness or other retreat activities is voluntary unless expressly stated otherwise.
Guests are responsible for deciding whether a particular activity is appropriate for them and for seeking professional medical advice where appropriate.
CreVue Retreat does not provide medical diagnosis or medical treatment merely by providing wellness, educational, recreational or retreat programming.
Certain activities may be subject to additional safety instructions, eligibility requirements or a separate acknowledgement or waiver.
7. Children
Children may attend CreVue Retreat where permitted for the particular retreat, accommodation or event.
Certain activities involving minors may require authorization from a parent or legal guardian and/or a separate participation waiver.
CreVue Retreat does not provide childcare or supervision of children unless that service is expressly identified in writing.
8. Personal Property
Guests are responsible for appropriately safeguarding their personal belongings.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, CreVue Retreat is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal property where that loss was not caused by CreVue Retreat’s breach of a legal duty.
9. Damage to Property
Guests may be held responsible for loss or damage they intentionally or negligently cause to CreVue Retreat property, accommodations, furnishings or equipment, subject to applicable law.
10. Website Information
We endeavour to keep information on the CreVue Retreat website accurate and current. However, occasional errors, omissions or technical issues may occur.
If a material pricing or booking error occurs, CreVue Retreat will address the matter reasonably and in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.
11. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the CreVue Retreat name, branding, website design, text, graphics, photographs and other original website content are owned by or licensed to Elcana Wellness Inc.
They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or commercially exploited without permission except as permitted by law.
12. Third-Party Websites
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services.
CreVue Retreat does not control those third parties and is not responsible for their independent content, availability, privacy practices or terms.
13. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, CreVue Retreat will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights or remedies provided to consumers by applicable consumer protection legislation. Ontario’s current Consumer Protection Act expressly preserves statutory rights notwithstanding an agreement or waiver to the contrary.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
Nothing in this provision deprives a consumer of rights that applicable law does not permit the parties to exclude.
15. Changes to These Terms
CreVue Retreat may revise these Terms periodically.
Changes will apply prospectively from the effective date of the revised Terms and will not retroactively alter an existing confirmed booking except where agreed by the parties or permitted or required by law.
CreVue Retreat
Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policy
Effective Date: September 1, 2026
We understand that plans sometimes change. This policy is intended to provide guests with flexibility while allowing CreVue Retreat to reasonably plan accommodations, staffing, food, programming and other resources.
Guest Cancellations
Unless different cancellation terms are clearly disclosed for a particular retreat, event, promotion or group reservation:
More than 30 days before arrival
The guest may cancel and receive a refund of amounts paid, less any clearly disclosed non-refundable booking or administrative fee.
15–30 days before arrival
The guest may choose either:
- a 50% refund of amounts paid toward the affected booking; or
- a 100% booking credit toward an eligible future CreVue Retreat booking, to be used within 12 months of the original arrival date.
14 days or less before arrival
Payments are generally non-refundable. CreVue Retreat may, at its discretion, permit a booking credit or date change where circumstances warrant.
No-show or early departure
No refund will ordinarily be provided for a no-show or unused portion of a stay or retreat after arrival.
Any statutory cancellation or refund right available under applicable law takes precedence over this policy.
Administrative Fees
Any non-refundable administrative or booking fee will be clearly disclosed to the guest before the reservation is completed.
If no such fee is disclosed during booking, CreVue Retreat will not subsequently impose one on that booking.
Booking Credits
Unless otherwise stated in writing, booking credits:
- have no cash value;
- cannot be resold;
- must be applied toward an eligible CreVue Retreat booking within the stated validity period; and
- are subject to availability and any price difference applicable to the new booking.
Changes Requested by Guests
Requests to change dates are subject to availability.
A change in dates, accommodation, retreat or other booking details may result in a price difference.
Cancellation by CreVue Retreat
If CreVue Retreat cancels a booking and cannot provide a reasonable alternative acceptable to the guest, amounts paid directly to CreVue Retreat for the cancelled service will be refunded.
Except where required by law or caused by circumstances for which CreVue Retreat is legally responsible, CreVue Retreat is not responsible for independent expenses incurred by a guest, such as airfare, transportation or third-party accommodation.
Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
Occasionally, circumstances outside reasonable control may prevent, materially interfere with or make it unsafe to provide a retreat or accommodation as planned.
Examples may include:
- severe weather;
- natural disasters;
- fire;
- widespread utility or infrastructure failures;
- government orders;
- public emergencies; or
- other extraordinary events.
Where this occurs, CreVue Retreat will endeavour to provide a reasonable solution, which may include rescheduling, alternative arrangements, a booking credit or refund, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
Nothing in this section removes statutory consumer rights.
